We have spent quite a while wondering what we should do with this website. Like many companies who work with internet technology, our own site has never been much of a priority. It would have seemed to be minimalism ad extremis to visitors who only knew the address of the front (and seemingly only) page, oblivious to the hidden depths lurking beneath the surface.

We've talked many times about adding more information, but really we had never gotten around to it. We had always said that the easiest way to grow the site into something much more useful would be to force ourselves to add a page a day. Then we realised that the best way to do that would be to scrap the conventional idea of having our website be some sort of thinly-disguised electronic brochure, and instead have a weblog.

As our speciality is in building systems for internet retail, we'll probably end up writing quite a lot about that. Due to confidentiality issues we won't be able to talk much about the actual work we're doing. Instead we'll probably just rant a lot about the dismal state of the industry; because, as we all know, ecommerce sites, for the most part, are completely terrible.
